About Taher
I am a Data Scientist based in Singapore, currently working at the largest financial institution in the world and I’ve had the great fortune to work with some of the largest companies in the past. During my tenure, I met with some of the most successful and innovative people on the planet which changed my life, and I have created this space to share my experiences with you.
I’ve also been a guest lecturer at several universities. I’ve delivered lectures about how to influence people as well as personality development.
I’m 33 years old. Blogging is my passion but I am a Software Developer by profession. I grew up in Sidhpur, Gujarat, and moved to Hyderabad, India to attend university, and now live in Singapore. I am a Gold medalist in School, a university Topper, and have recently completed my master's degree from BITS Pilani specializing in Artificial intelligence and Machine learning.
Three extremely strong women have shaped my life for a better destiny. My beautiful mum, my wife Sakina, and my mentor Soujanya who changed my life forever. I met my wife during my visit to Dubai and from then onwards she has been my pillar of strength. She has always encouraged me to write since 2012. I failed at it multiple times, but here I am, giving it another shot.
The most important part of any story is the "Storyteller"
Why is it important? Because the part of the story that is driving is from the storyteller's perspective. So when a person takes a story, he is not just taking the story but he is also taking the storyteller's perspective along with him, so the storyteller is always with him. For this reason, storytelling is very important for every aspect of your life.
People remember people by the quality of conversation. How you make someone feel is your uniqueness which in turn helps in remembering that person.
