Dream Big!
Updated: Jan 12, 2023
Dream big, work hard and the entire universe will conspire for you to get it.

“Do you feel that others' lives are better than yours? Do you feel that life is unfair to you? Are you on a verge of a self-identity crisis?"
I ran away from home to pursue my dreams when I was 16 and ended up being in a toxic environment all by myself for more than 6 years which was a very disturbing experience for me. I had literally no money to pay my college fees so I went approaching people around the city and failed miserably. Some treated me like a beggar and threw coins at my face while others ignored me. Once a Gold-medalist and the topper of his school was now on the road, disheartened, broken, and left with no hope. I compromised on my college selection due to money constraints but not on my dreams.
I got married when I was 21 when I had not had enough money and so my elder brother sponsored my wedding. My first job was not very fancy so had to survive on little money and had to compromise a lot but my wife supported me though being brought up in a rich family. My manager was abusive and aggressive in his work approach and always treated me like a dustbin, he used to throw a pen at me when I made any mistake while coding. Slowly that negativity started impacting my personal life as well. Lack of sleep plus office pressure got me admitted to the hospital multiple times, no one had any hopes for me.
This might be a very disturbing experience, reading so far. But the real shit happened to me after that.
We consecutively lost our 2 babies due to genetic disorders. Later my dad was admitted to the ICU due to which I had to leave my job and my wife to support my family. Once a Gold-medalist and the topper of his school was now on the road, jobless, disheartened, broken, and left with no hope. My brother and I invested every penny to save my dad and I started running my dad's business to meet our daily expenses. I spent almost 6-months with my family and ensured that my dad recovered well.
I mentally collapsed and it drained me physically as well. That's when I started doubting myself. Is this the way I wanted to lead my life?
I came back to Hyderabad and that's when the miracle happened, Wells Fargo. It gave me a new life, and a better chance to prove myself; and to my luck, I got a wonderful opportunity to learn so much.
I found my passion at Wells Fargo, and I found my mentor at Wells Fargo and that changed everything in my life. I strongly believe that my mentor has transformed my life over the course of time and I consider myself lucky to find my mentor in her. She gave me the freedom to work, the freedom to choose, and the freedom to make my own decisions. Most importantly, I learned how to positively influence people and that's the reason you are still reading this post.
Fast forward to today, I am working for one of the largest companies in the world. I have already published my first research paper on AI as well as filed my first patent. Also, First, one in my family to get a master's degree that too from BITS Pilani specializing in AI. I have 4 days of the work week, so now I can dedicate the rest of my time to my interest which is research work and reading.
I consider myself lucky not because of my stupendous achievements so far but for the love that God has showered upon me. Alhamdolillah.
Am I rich? No
Am I doing something crazy that you aren't? No
Is this post about bragging about my achievements? Absolutely Not
This post is not to showcase my past or present life, it is about you my friend. This story isn't about me, it's about every other common individual you come across on Instagram my friend. They might seem very fancy on Instagram but trust me things are not always rosy at the other end of the road.
I am just a common man, like you. Perhaps I was able to achieve my Ikigai at a very young age (You can Google the meaning of Ikigai and thank me later). Use the money to gain control over your time, because not having control of your time is such a powerful and universal drag on happiness. The ability to do what you want, when you want, with who you want, for as long as you want to, pays the highest dividend that exists in finance.
Being such a big loser, if I can; then you definitely can! After reading such a long post if you are still feeling low then I strongly recommend you reconsider God's blessing upon you. The biggest miracle of God is that you are still alive and breathing, you have this moment with you that no one can steal from you. Live it my friend and you will be astonished by his blessing upon you.
Much love and God bless! 😇
